The Trufrost CF Premia single lid chest freezer is a 2-in-1 hard top cabinet that doubles as a chiller. Turn the knob and the same cabinet moves from -24°C to +6°C, which matters if your stock changes with the season or you cannot justify two separate units.
Both models run on R290 refrigerant with 70mm PUF insulation in the cabinet and the lid. That thickness is why they hold temperature through an Indian summer without the compressor running flat out, and it keeps your power bill sane in a kitchen that already sits at 40°C.
The CF 175 Premia takes 700mm of wall; the CF 225 Premia takes 940mm. Both are single-lid, both come on wheels, and both include a basket so you are not digging to the bottom for one packet.
Who it suits: small cafes, cloud kitchens, kirana and convenience stores, QSR outlets, and any bakery that needs frozen storage without giving up a metre of floor.

Q: Can this be used as a chiller instead of a freezer?
A: Yes. Both the CF 175 Premia and CF 225 Premia are 2-in-1 units. A knob moves the cabinet anywhere between -24°C and +6°C, so you can run it as a freezer for ice cream or as a chiller for drinks and dairy, and switch as your stock changes.
Q: What power supply does it need?
A: A standard 230V, 50Hz single-phase socket. No three-phase connection or special wiring is required, which is why these suit small outlets and shops.
Q: Which size fits a small cafe?
A: The CF 175 Premia at 175 litres gross and 700mm wide is usually enough for a small cafe or kirana counter. Move to the CF 225 Premia at 220 litres if you are holding more than a few days of frozen stock. Tell us your daily volume, and we will confirm.
Q: Will it hold temperature in a hot kitchen?
A: These are built for it. The 70mm PUF insulation in both the cabinet and lid, combined with R290 refrigerant, is specified for tropical summer conditions rather than air-conditioned rooms.
