The remote glass door range lets you build a uniform display wall of chillers and freezers with the condenser sited away from the shop floor, so no compressor heat or noise reaches customers. The Trufrost remote glass door chiller and freezer is built for stores that want a clean display wall without compressor heat and noise on the shop floor. Because these are remote units, the condensing gear sits elsewhere, in a plant room or outside, and only the display cabinet stands in the aisle.
The design point is uniformity. These cabinets are made to line up next to each other, so you can build a themed wall or corner where chillers and freezers sit flush in one continuous run. That is hard to achieve with plug-in units that each carry their own condenser and vent their own heat.
There are three models. The VFR 2000 is the freezer, three doors, holding -18°C to -20°C behind triple pane glass with heat film to keep the glass clear. The VCR 2000 is the three-door chiller and the VCR 2800 is the four-door chiller, both holding the chiller range with 18 and 24 shelves respectively.
All three have digital temperature control, interior LED lighting, self closing doors and adjustable feet. The freezer adds automatic defrost and the heated triple-pane glass that stops a frozen door fogging over.
One thing to plan for: because these are remote, each cabinet needs a matching remote condensing unit and the pipework to connect them. This is a specified, installed purchase, not a plug-and-play cabinet. We quote the condensing unit and installation alongside the cabinet so the system arrives complete.
Who it suits: supermarkets and food retail, large format stores, premium grocery, and any store building a display wall of chilled and frozen product.
Restolane has supplied commercial kitchens across India for close to 20 years. We help you match the right capacity to your actual load rather than overselling you a bigger cabinet, and we back every unit with after-sales support and pan-India delivery. You can also see equipment running at our Delhi Experience Center before you commit.
Tell us your wall length and your chiller and freezer split, and we will spec the cabinets and the condensing units together.

What does remote mean, and why choose it over a plug-in unit?
Remote means the condensing unit sits away from the cabinet, in a plant room or outside, rather than inside it. You choose remote when you want a clean display wall with no compressor heat or noise on the shop floor, and when you are lining up several cabinets in one continuous run.
Do I need to buy anything else to run these?
Yes. Each cabinet needs a matching remote condensing unit and the pipework to connect them. We quote the condensing unit and installation alongside the cabinet so the system is complete. This is an installed purchase, not a plug-in cabinet.
Which model is the freezer and which are chillers?
The VFR 2000 is the freezer, holding -18°C to -20°C. The VCR 2000 and VCR 2800 are chillers holding the +2°C to +6°C range. You can line freezers and chillers up together in one run.
What is the difference between the VCR 2000 and VCR 2800?
The VCR 2000 is a three-door chiller at 2190 litres and 2050mm wide. The VCR 2800 is a four-door chiller at 2955 litres and 2734mm wide. Choose on wall length and the volume you need.
Can you help plan a full display wall?
Yes, this is what these are built for. Send us your wall length and how much chilled versus frozen space you need, and we will spec the cabinets and the matching condensing units together and quote the installation.
