The Butler B-51 is built for a genuinely hectic kitchen, a hood type dishwasher where the hood lifts on springs to load a rack and lowers to start the cycle, handling dishes up to 395mm diameter and glasses up to 370mm tall, both larger than the front loading range.
It runs two wash cycles, 60 seconds for a fast turnaround or 150 seconds for a deeper clean, through upper and lower rotating wash and rinse arms. Safety is built into the mechanism itself: the wash cycle only starts once the hood is fully closed, and the machine stops immediately if the hood is lifted during a cycle.
It is suitable for line or corner installation, with height-adjustable legs for levelling on an uneven kitchen floor. The full AISI 304 stainless steel structure, corrosion-resistant heating elements, and standard rinse aid, detergent and drain pump connections match the rest of the Butler dishwasher range.
Who it suits: extremely busy restaurants and eateries needing higher throughput and larger dish capacity than an undercounter machine can offer.

A hood type dishwasher has a lifting hood you load from above rather than a front-opening door, generally handling larger dishes and higher throughput than an undercounter machine.
