The Doge Quattro takes a different design approach from a conventional machine. Rather than choosing between an open-group design (visible mechanics) or a covered-group design (displays and keyboards mounted above the group), it combines both, keeping the visible mechanics baristas like while adding the control panel and display of a modern covered-group machine above it.
That architecture makes it a lightweight, practical machine on the counter, easy to insert the filter holder into, while still giving a large control panel above the group for programming doses and pre-infusion.
It runs electrical heating with a temperature probe and a boiler pressure control gauge, a built-in pump with its own pressure control gauge, and programmable coffee doses, hot water doses, and pre-infusion for all groups, plus programmable boiler temperature through a friendly display.
Who it suits: cafes wanting the visible, hands-on feel of an open-group machine combined with the programmability of a modern covered-group design.
