The Trufrost DT 400 dual temperature freezer solves a problem most chest freezers force on you: choosing between freeze or chill. It does both at once. Two segregated compartments under two lids, one holding frozen stock, the other running as a cooler, in a single 1520mm cabinet.
This solves a specific problem. A cafe that needs 170 litres of frozen space and 200 litres of chilled space would otherwise buy two cabinets and give up 3 metres of wall. The DT 400 does it in one.
The split is fixed: 172 litres of freezer and 208 litres of cooler, net. That ratio suits an outlet holding ice cream and frozen snacks on one side, with dairy, beverages and prepped items on the other. If your split is heavily one-sided, a single-temperature CF Premia will give you more usable volume for the money.
It runs R290 with 70mm PUF in both cabinet and lid, on wheels, with one basket.
Who it suits: cafes, small restaurants, cloud kitchens, kirana and convenience stores, and any outlet where floor space costs more than the equipment.

Q: Can both compartments run at the same temperature?
A: The DT 400 Premia is built to run two temperatures at once, one compartment freezing and the other chilling. If you want the whole cabinet at one temperature, the CF 440 DD Premia is the same 1520mm width and gives you more usable volume.
Q: How is the space split between freezer and cooler?
A: 172 litres net on the freezer side and 208 litres net on the cooler side. That split is fixed. If your requirement is heavily weighted one way, tell us and we will suggest a better fit.
Q: What can I store on each side?
A: Ice cream and frozen snacks on the freezer side, dairy, beverages, prepped ingredients and anything needing above zero storage on the cooler side.
Q: What power supply does it need?
A: A standard 230V, 50Hz single phase socket. It uses R290 refrigerant with 70mm PUF insulation in both cabinet and lids.
