The Trufrost self-contained ice machine is the plug-and-play option: the ice maker and storage bin are one unit, so there is no separate bin to install or plumb in. Several models are suitable for undercounter placement as long as the recommended air circulation space is available for the discharged hot air.
Capacity runs from 18 to 98 kg per day across six models. The IC 18 BW is the smallest, a countertop unit producing bullet-shaped ice and taking a bottled water jar on top, with automatic shut-off when the bin is full. The IC 25 Premia through IC 100 Premia produce dice-shaped cubes, with the IC 25 Premia also usable as a countertop unit, and the IC 35 BW Premia and IC 55 BW Premia able to accommodate a bottled water jar on top.
The IC 55 BW Premia XL is worth noting separately: same rated capacity as the standard IC 55 BW Premia, but it produces a larger 35x35x23mm cube rather than the standard 28x28x23mm.
Insulated bin and door on every model minimise air condensation and water formation around the machine.

What is the difference between self-contained and modular ice machines?
Self-contained machines have the storage bin built into the same unit, ready to plug in with no separate installation. Modular machines need a separate storage bin bought and connected separately, used for larger scale operations.
Which model fits under a counter?
The IC 25 Premia, IC 35 BW Premia, IC 55 BW Premia and IC 100 Premia are all suitable for undercounter use, provided the recommended air circulation space is available for the discharged hot air.
What is the difference between the IC 55 BW Premia and the XL version?
Same rated capacity and footprint, but the XL produces a larger 35x35x23mm cube compared with the standard 28x28x23mm dice.
Does it need a plumbed water line?
The IC 18 BW takes a bottled water jar on top and does not need a plumbed connection. Several other models in the range also offer this bottled water option; tell us your site and we will confirm what your chosen model needs.
