This Trufrost double door deep freezer range covers four hard top cabinets from 320 to 628 litres gross, all 2-in-1, all able to run as a freezer at -24°C or a chiller at +6°C depending on what you put in them.
The reason to go multi-lid is not just capacity. On a busy line, staff open the freezer constantly. With two or three separate lids, you open only the section you need, so the rest of the cabinet is not fighting warm air all service. That is what protects your ice cream texture and your compressor.
All four run R290 with 70mm PUF insulation in the cabinet and the lid, and all arrive on wheels with baskets fitted, so segregating raw and prepped stock does not mean unloading the whole cabinet.
Footprint is the deciding factor for most buyers. The CF 330 DD needs 1220mm of wall, the CF 440 DD needs 1520mm, the CF 550 DD needs 1820mm, and the CF 700 TD needs 2100mm. Measure your run before you choose the capacity.

Q: What is the difference between the double lid and triple lid models?
A: The double lid models (CF 330, CF 440, CF 550) have two lids. The CF 700 is the largest cabinet in the range. More lids mean you open only the section you need during service instead of exposing the whole cabinet, which holds temperature better on a busy line.
Q: How much wall space do I need?
A: The CF 330 DD needs 1220mm, the CF 440 DD needs 1520mm, the CF 550 DD needs 1820mm, and the CF 700 TD needs 2100mm. All four are 730mm deep and 920mm high. Measure your run first, as depth and height are the same across the range.
Q: Can I run one section as a chiller and the other as a freezer?
A: No. These are 2-in-1 cabinets, meaning the whole unit converts between freezer and chiller with a knob. If you need two temperatures at once in one cabinet, look at the DT 400 Premia dual temperature model instead.
Q: What power supply and refrigerant do these use?
A: All four run on a standard 230V, 50Hz single-phase supply and use R290 refrigerant with 70mm PUF insulation, specified to perform through Indian summer conditions.
